KAPASITAS INFILTRASI PADA PENUTUPAN LAHAN BAMBU DAN CAMPURAN (SENGON DAN KOPI ) DI DESA SANANKERTO KECAMATAN TUREN KABUPATEN MALANG

Bentuk penutupan lahan yang berbeda pada suatu tempat akan berpengaruh terhadap penyimpanan air di dalam tanah. Air yang tersimpan di dalam tanah merupakan hasil dari proses infiltrasi. Penutupan lahan bambu diduga mempunyai kemampuan menyimpan air yang lebih baik daripada penutupan lahan campuran. Mengingat air mempunyai peran yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia dan tanaman, maka perlu diketahui kapasitas infiltrasi pada masing-masing penutupan lahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kapasitas infiltrasi pada penutupan lahan bambu dan campuran (sengon dan kopi) dan mengetahui hubungan sifat fisik dan kimia tanah terhadap kapasitas infiltrasi di Desa Sanankerto, Kecamatan Turen, Kabupaten Malang. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan secara random sampling dengan tiga pengulangan pada kelerengan yang sama. Pengambilan data infiltrasi menggunakan alat double ring infiltrometer, data sampel tanah menggunakan soil ring sample, dan data vegetasi dengan metode diagram profil. Analisis data kapasitas infiltrasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan persamaan horton f = fc + (fo-fc) e-kt, kemudian hasilnya dibandingkan dengan analisis deskriptif komparatif yang disajikan dalam grafik. Analisis sifat fisik dan kimia tanah dengan uji korelasi, sedangkan analisis vegetasi disajikan dalam software SexI-FS dan Adobe Photoshop. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa kapasitas infiltrasi pada penutupan lahan bambu berkisar antara 660-1500 mm/jam, sedangkan pada penutupan lahan campuran berkisar antara 1260-1860 mm/jam dan semua penutupan lahan termasuk kelas kapasitas infiltrasi sangat cepat. Sifat fisik dan kimia tanah berupa tekstur, struktur, bahan organik, permeabilitas, dan porositas tanah berkorelasi positif terhadap kapasitas infiltrasi, sedangkan berat jenis dan volume tanah berkorelasi negatif terhadap kapasitas infiltrasi.

Different type of land cover will impact toward water storage in soil. Stored water in soil is accumulation of infiltration process. Physical and chemical characteristic is one of factor influencing infiltration process. The coherence between vegetation and water is important considering infiltration and water stream mechanism. Recalling that water play important role to human and plants life, thus it is important to know infiltration on each different land cover. Result from the mechanism is greatly needed in order to supply water need in summer. Objectives of this research are to investigate infiltration capacity on bamboo and mixed vegetation (sengon and kopi) covered land and to investigate impact of physical and chemical characteristic on land toward infiltration capacity in Desa Sanankerto, Kecamatan Turen, Kabupaten Malang. Data was taken by random sampling method with third repetition on different slope. Infiltration data was taken by using double ring infiltrometer, soil sample was taken by soil ring sample, and vegetation was taken by using profile diagram. Infiltration capacity analysis completed by using Horton equity f = fc + (fo-fc) e-kt, then the result compared with comparative descriptive analysis served in graphic. Physical and chemical characteristic was analyzed by correlation test, while vegetation analysis served in SexI-FS and Adobe Photoshop. Result have shown that infiltration capacity on bamboo covered land is ranged between 660-1500 mm/jam, while on mixed covered land is 1260- 1860 mm/jam and all land cover classified as very quick infiltration capacity. Physical and chemical soil characteristic as texture, structure, organic mater, permeability and soil porosity positively correlated toward infiltration capacity, while density and soil volume negatively correlated toward infiltration capacity.
